I work with publishers all over the world as a literary scout and trendwatcher with my focus on the business book genre. I currently work with clients in Spain, Brazil, Russia, and Germany.
I built considerable expertise in the business book segment over the last several years. I worked for 800-CEO-READ, a U.S. based bookseller who specializes in the business book category and in my last year served as president of the company. The marketing of the company was through recommending and recognizing business books people should read. We did this a variety of ways including a company weblog that we started back when I joined the company in 2004, an annual awards program called The 800-CEO-READ Business Book Awards and a print publication called In The Books.
In 2009, I co-wrote The 100 Best Business Books of All Time, published by Portfolio in the United States. The book has sold over 25,000 copies in the U.S. market and has been translated into ten different languages.
